Accomodation

Thanks to optimised volumes and a bow designed for greater volume forward, the Dufour 37 offers a spacious owner’s cabin at the front, with excellent headroom. The interior of this Dufour 37 is bathed in light thanks to the large central hull windows. The galley is an L-shaped port side with ‘Corian®’ synthetic resin worktops with an integrated fiddle. The Stainless sink is supplied with covers in ‘Corian®’ and a single mixer tap. There is a 2-burner gas cooker and an oven on gimbals. The 12-volt compressor refrigerator box has sliding storage bins. There are 2 closed lockers, one shelf above the cooker and a waste bin below the sink. Opening portlights above the galley provide cooker ventilation. The saloon has large seats on both sides with stowage beneath and a table with two folding leaves. The WC has a sea toilet, a vanity cabinet and a shower head.

Deck Equipment

This new Dufour 37 is supplied with a set of cockpit covers in "Dark Smoke" synthetic teak decks with grey joints in the cockpit, Stainless Steel bow protection, Lifeline gates (set of 2), Flexiteak cockpit and benches and an extra fresh water tank, A mooring kit including fenders, warps and 16kg Delta anchor and chain is also supplied. This Dufour 37 has a bowsprit platform, large deck hatches and hull windows, and the layout of the outdoor space makes it easy to move around on deck. You’ll also enjoy a bigger cockpit than on other yachts of this size.

Safety Equipment

At the helm are twin steering wheels, covered in leather, an engine throttle lever and control panel on the cockpit side and a compass. Storage lockers provide adequate storage for a long passage. The sealed gas locker is aft, to port and a liferaft locker is provided. Shore power is under the starboard helm seat. An emergency tiller is supplied beneath the helmsman's floor.

Rigging

This Dufour 37 has an Anodized aluminium mast with sweptback spreaders and a 9/10 fractional setup with a 3-colour masthead light and anchor light. The boom has a topping lift cleat and 2 continuous reefers. Forward is a roller furler. This Dufour 37 has continuous in stainless single-strand cable, chrome-plated bronze rigging screws, comprising of a forestay, inter and lower shrouds with no backstay. Running rigging is supplied in pre-stretched textile including main and genoa halyards, boom topping lift, main and genoa sheets, 2 continuous reef lines, furling line, vang and an outhaul.
